The goal in getting the peak performance is to keep it there. Using certain tools in NLP in the present, you can go back to your past and install them in a period of time that would have been useful to you then. The reason for this is to have a past memory of being in peak performance. Once you realize that you’ve been at peak performance in your past, you will know that it has always been a part of you. The reason self-made millionaires can all their money taken away from them and get it back in a short amount of time is that they have the experience in knowing how to earn millions that they can draw from.

Memories are constantly changing anyway. Children naturally change the way they think. They can even create a mindset where they believe they are a superhero or some other make-believe character. I’m not saying to go that far, but much of what these kids have done, so can you.

So what I do is to watch him run over and over again. I study the way he moves his arms, the way he carries himself, the way he holds his head. I observe his relaxed position. Once I’ve fixed all his movements into my mind, I then close my eyes and visualize him running. I will envision him from different angles; from the side, the top, the back, and the front. This helps me to capture his every move, and to make his talent part of my own mental process.

Facing fears is scary stuff and many people find it helps to have a guide down the the hazardous river of the subconscious mind. There are different programs that can help you cure Acrophobia, so do some research to find one that suits your personality best. One program which uses a type of therapy called Time Line Therapy, seems to work for a broad spectrum of people.

Time Line Therapy allows anyone to let go of negative emotions from the past, as well as let go of limiting thoughts like ‘I’m not good enough’ or ‘I don’t really care.’ It does this by rapidly accessing the ‘root cause’ of any problem, and allowing it to re-assess from a unique and totally safe perspective – before the event ever occurred. It is this dis-associative pre-event perspective, unique in the field, which lends itself to Time Line Therapy’s remarkable results
